A man cut off his own testicles and caused bloody mayhem in a church where a wedding was about to take place earlier this month in Hotton, in Essex, England.

The man hacked his balls off with a pair of scissors, then, soaked in his own blood, barged into All Saints Church on Hutton Village Road, where the vicar and a florist were getting the venue ready for a wedding.

"Somebody came into the church having self-harmed outside," Reverend Bob Wallace of All Saints Church, told the Huffington Post UK.

A friend of the bride and groom who arrived for the wedding at 12:45pm on Saturday, September 18, said he was met at the door by the vicar who told him that a man who had self-harmed was in the building.

"There was blood all over the floor just outside the church. When I went in there it was like someone had been murdered. There was blood everywhere," the man, who asked not to be named, told the Brentwood Weekly News.

"The vicar knew of the man and said he had come into the church as they were setting up. He said the man had chopped his testicles off with a pair of scissors and was going bezerk, chucking chairs around. I'm surprised he didn't pass out."

"When I went in the church, I saw something on the floor which I could only describe as flesh, which I thought was part of his arm but that was one of his testicles."

According to the Brentwood Weekly News, the man entered the church and began throwing chairs while bleeding all over the place.

He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries and referred for a mental health assessment.

The wedding started half an hour late, with the bridge reportedly unaware of what had happened.

--------------------------------------------------------

TomoNews is your daily source for top animated news.
