Originally published on August 23, 2013 <br /><br />Three alleged gang members were arrested by police after a high-speed car chase in Selangor, Malaysia on August 22. The three men aged between 26 and 27, were believed to be members of the notorious 08 Gang.<br /><br />Local media reports that the suspects were first identified by police as acting suspiciously inside a car near a restaurant at about 2:30 a.m. Police ordered them to step out of the vehicle but they avoided police inspection by reversing their car and escaped. Police then began an almost one hour-long car chase with the suspects on a highway. The suspects opened fire at police several times during the car chase before their vehicle hit another car, crashed into a road divider and came to a halt.
