Originally published on July 30, 2013<br /><br />A Syrian Kurdish politician was assassinated by a car bomb on July 30. According to Reuters, Isa Huso was leaving his house in the Syrian town of Al Qamishli when a bomb planted in his car exploded. Local media reported that the bomb was placed underneath the front part of the vehicle.
