These federal workers should be on the job, instead they're on the street.<br /> <br />Furloughed workers armed with placards stood in front of the Museum of Natural History in Washington on Wednesday.<br /> <br />They boarded buses to hand out leaflets to tourists to let them know which major attractions were still open and closed.<br /> <br />Seth Couslar, who's worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for the past 25 years, says the furlough will hurt his family.<br /> <br />SOUNDBITE: FURLOUGHED FEDERAL WORKER SETH COUSLAR, SAYING:<br /> <br />"I ACTUALLY HAVE TWO KIDS IN COLLEGE, OUT OF STATE TUITION, IT'S GOING TO BE A SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL HARDSHIP. I'M TALKINGABOUT POSSIBLY GETTING EMERGENCY LOANS FROM THE CREDIT UNION."<br /> <br />The furloughs are forcing many federal workers to file for unemployment.<br /> <br />SOUNDBITE: FURLOUGHED FEDERAL WORKER DAN RONNEBERG, SAYING:<br /> <br />"I wanted to make sure my claim was in, in line so that if this drags out, there might be a check coming that I can pay my rent."
