Police found seven severed heads stuffed in plastic bags on the edge of a highway near Guadalajara, Mexico on July 2.<br />Local media reported that the discovery came after the arrest of three suspects involved in the killings of two people and other crimes. Based on a confession given by the suspects, police located and rescued a man who had been kidnapped and chained in a house in El Palomar. They then headed to the Guadalajara-Colima highway, where they found seven severed male heads of different ages packed in plastic bags. Police are investigating whether the suspects are related to more crimes in the area.<br />According to Reuters, the area has been hard hit by ongoing drug-related violence.
