Thanks to some quick thinking, this deli clerk in Long Island averts a potential disaster.<br/> <br />Closed circuit TV footage shows a robber busting into the store pointing a gun at the clerk.<br/> <br />He fires a shot.<br/> <br />The deli clerk then reaches under the counter - and pulls out a machete and chases the would be robber out of the store.<br/> <br />The store owner said they got the giant knife a few weeks ago, quote 'for protection'.<br/> <br />Seems like it may have been a good weapon of choice.
