Saaya Suzuki, an 18-year-old high school girl and budding actress, was stabbed to death by her 21-year-old ex-boyfriend, Charles Thomas Ikenaga, in Mitaka, western Tokyo.<br /><br />On her way home from school Tuesday afternoon, Ikenaga came behind with a knife, stabbing her neck, right before she almost made it home.<br /><br />A passerby heard a scream and saw the suspect chasing the girl and stabbing her abdomen multiple times.<br /><br />After the victim's mother heard the scream, she rushed out and called the police immediately. The victim was sent to hospital and later confirmed dead, suffering stab wounds.<br /><br />The police later arrested the suspect. He has admitted to murdering the victim.<br /><br />Ikenaga told the police he met the young actress through Facebook two years ago. They dated till fall last year. Holding a grudge against Suzuki over their breakup last year, Ikenaga constantly pressured and harassed her, even sending her a text message threatening to kill her. <br /><br />Having been stalked by Ikenaga, Suzuki went to the Mitaka Police Station with her parents Tuesday morning but was killed later that day. <br /><br />The suspect even uploaded nude pictures of the victim online when he was on the run after the murder. <br /><br />--------------------------------------------------------<br /><br />TomoNews is your daily source for top animated news.
