Originally published on July 23, 2013<br /><br />Three US soldiers and their interpreter were killed in a suicide attack against an Afghan and NATO military convoy in eastern Afghanistan early on Tuesday, according to a report by Al Jazeera.<br /><br />A suicide bomber dressed as a farmer rode a donkey into a group of US and Afghan forces on a joint patrol, in Wardak province, a Taliban stronghold southwest of Kabul.<br /><br />He set off the explosion as he approached the troops.<br /><br />Four Afghan soldiers and a number of civilians were wounded in the attack, which the Taliban claimed responsibility for.<br /><br />--------------------------------------------------------<br /><br />TomoNews is your daily source for top animated news.
