ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION).<br/> <br />STORY: More than 40 cars were destroyed after a grass fire burnt out of control near Sydney Olympic Park on Sunday (October 13), with more than 500 people evacuated from the near by aquatic center, Seven Network reported.<br/> <br />Flames were fueled by warm temperatures and gusty winds. More than 50 firefighters continue to battle to contain the fires.<br/> <br />A t Port Stephens, north of Sydney, people have been evacuated after five homes were destroyed when two large fires swept through the area, local media reported.<br/> <br />The New South Rural Fire Service continues to fight the fires as embers could possible blow several kilometers ahead of the fire creating more blazes, local media said.
