Brazilian police say they have arrested 196 people and seized weapons in a raid on a slum known as Complexo do Lins.<br /><br />The operation in Rio de Janeiro is part of the government's efforts to tackle drug gangs ahead of next year's Football World Cup.<br /><br />But activists criticise the police behaviour towards the civilians.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Monica Villamizar reports from Rio de Janeiro.
