In cahoots, they decide to go and look for him in the city, wandering around in a daze. Deeply shocked by his sudden disappearance, the two brothers start playing hooky and hanging out at the movies. One day, while watching a film, they think they recognize their father on screen. They then steal the film print, trying to find his face on the reels, but are arrested before they get very far.
