Valencia (Spain) 20 Mar (efe).- The Mediterranean Spanish city of Valencia bid a tearful goodbye to one of the country's most beloved festivals, Las Fallas; a week-long pyrotechnic free-for-all that makes other Spanish fiestas seem tame -- if that's possible -- so much so that next year Las Fallas is expected appear on UNESCO's Immaterial World Heritage List for its intangible cultural contribution to mankind.
