Vatican, 16 feb (EFE).- Pope Benedict XVI granted Atletico de Madrid an audience at the Vatican. Players, the club's President Enrique Cerezo and the team's coach assisted to the act. <br /><br /> The team, that was introduced by Madrid's Cardinal Antonio Maria Rouco Varea, where first in line at Paul VI Audience Hall. <br /><br />At the end of the audience, the team was received in private by the Pope who talked for some minutes with players and managers.
