Krokodil, a flesh-eating 'zombie' drug, whose symptoms sound like something out of a horror movie, has been making inroads into the US, according to a report by CNN.<br /><br />It may sound like any addict's wet dream: A drug that can deliver a heroin-like high for as low as a tenth the cost and is easy make at home.<br /><br />If it sounds too good to be true, it is.<br /><br />Desomorphine, better known as krokodil, comes with a far steeper, hidden cost.<br /><br />The drug, eats away at flesh, leaving users with scaly, crocodile-like skin and gangrenous limbs.<br /><br />"It's a zombie drug -- it literally kills you from the inside out," said Dr. Abhin Singla, who treated an Illinois woman suffering from krokodil addiction this weekend.
