It is mainly an economic one! <br /> <br />Also when you look at the act of "racism" outside of an individual context its meaning changes. <br /> <br />So you much be astute!! Racism is one thing on an individual level, and one thing on a group level. On an individual level we should really consider racism to be racial bigotry. Bias, discrimination, and prejudice are contributors with the main motivator being fear and / or hatred. If we look at the etymology of word (and historical context) then it is very different. <br /> <br />Racism is all about the misuse of people within a competitive relationship. This is for the sake of upsetting the distribution of power, resources and wealth. <br /> <br />So, when a black person says they can not be racist he or she is correct. <br /> <br />IF we are talking about the reality of the word outside of the suffix "ism". <br /> <br />ISM=A distinctive doctrine, system, or theory <br /> <br />On an individual level it takes the shape of a belief system which brings ill treatment and includes a superiority perspective. This is ONLY on an individual level!! <br /> <br />This is PART of the reason BLACKS will die. I have been saying for years RACISM is in TWO parts. The 1) generated accepted part which is academically promoted and 2) the other more DEVASTATING side. The group perspective. <br /> <br />This is a GET REAL edition!
