Prateik Babbar recently celebrated his late mother, Smita Patil's birthday by cutting a cake with kids from 'Save the Children' NGO in Mumbai. <br /> <br />Speaking on the occasion, the 26-year-old actor revealed his mother's support for underprivileged women and children. <br /> <br />"My mother always supported women and children, specially the underprivileged and those who do not have all the necessary facilities in life. So that's why I think I should celebrate her birthday like this. So I have cut a small cake with these kids and I think she will be happy, very happy", he said. <br /> <br />Patil, who was married to actor Raj Babbar, died in 1986 following childbirth complications.
