This is the child at the centre of a major mystery for Greek police.<br /> <br />She was living with a couple whose conflicting accounts about the girl roused their suspicions.<br /> <br />That led to DNA tests which showed she had no genetic compatibility with the supposed parents, who are Roma.<br /> <br />(SOUNDBITE)(Greek) POLICE DIRECTOR OF THESSALIA PROVINCE, VASSILIS HALATSIS, SAYING:<br /> <br />"Up to now it looks as if the child was abducted or taken in 2009 under unknown circumstances."<br /> <br />The girl, aged about five or six, will be placed in the care of the Smile of the Child welfare charity after undergoing hospital checks.<br /> <br />The organisation's posted her picture on its website with an appeal for information to establish her true identity.<br /> <br />Its president says there could be several reasons for the girl's presence in Greece.<br /> <br />(SOUNDBITE)(English) SMILE OF THE CHILD PRESIDENT KOSTAS YANNOPOULOS SAYING:<br /> <br />"It could be kidnapping and combined effort of these people to buy and sell
