Six months into the job and Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro is blaming economic sabotage for the country's problems, including inflation running at nearly 50 percent and shortages of hard currency.<br /><br />To deal with this crisis, he is now asking lawmakers to grant him special powers to pass laws unilaterally.<br /><br />But that is being disputed even by some of his own supporters.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rachel Levin reports from Caracas.
