A shooting rampage at the US Navy Yard in Washington DC left at least 12 victims dead and several others injured, including two police officers.<br /><br />In addition, one suspect is dead and police are searching for two other possible shooters dressed in military-style clothing.<br /><br />The shooting began at about 8:15am, according to Metropolitan police officials. Responding officers were on the scene within seven minutes.<br /><br />Police engaged the shooter inside Building 197 at the Washington Navy Yard. One police officer was injured. The shooter died in the exchange. Police have yet to identify the shooter.<br /><br />City officials said two other suspects may have been involved: a white male wearing a tan military-style uniform who was seen carrying a handgun. And a black male wearing an olive colored uniform who was seen carrying a long gun.
