Chicago, 3 Jun (EFE), (Camera: Viviana Avila).- Over 30 same-sex couples saw their dream come true at a park in central Chicago when they tied the not at the State of Illinois' first civil union ceremony attended by Lord Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Governor Pat Quinn. <br /><br /> <br /><br />Illinois' Religious Freedom and Civil Union Act came into effect on 1 June, making it the sixth U.S. state to give same-sex couples some of the rights enjoyed by married couples such as those related to hospital visits, medical decisions, health insurance, adoption, pensions, inheritance and death.
