Demolition has begun at the site of Newtown, Connecticut's Sandy Hook Elementary School where a gunman killed 20 children and six adults before taking his own life last December.<br/> <br />The demolition project will last several weeks and is expected to be complete before the one year anniversary.<br/> <br />A new school will be built on the site. It's slated to open in three years.<br/> <br />Sandy Hook students have been attending school in a nearby town.
