Jim Dailakis is an Australian New York-based comedian/actor traveling all over the world headlining clubs, theaters, corporate events, including Greek American/Australian/Canadian fundraisers. <br /> <br />He has worked with the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Larry the Cable Guy, Kevin <br />Nealon, Carolyn Rhea, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and Weird Al <br />Yankovic. He's performed alongside Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves <br />Raymond at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Since his arrival in the US, Jim has <br />appeared in TV commercials as well as having performed a lot of voiceovers in <br />radio and television. <br /> <br />He recently played a role in the independent award winning movies Mona and <br />Broadway's Finest. He had a supporting role in the movie Uncle Melvin's <br />Apartment and currently playing a Greek immigrant in the film, This Is Reality. <br />Jim is working on several feature films he’s written as vehicles for himself <br />including All My Friends Are Getting Married which has a sales agent already <br />in place. <br /> <br />He has a one-man show called, Conversations with Myself (and The Other <br />Voices in My Head) where he convincingly plays over 20 characters and <br />celebrities. The start date is April 2013 in New York City. Charles Messina is <br />directing. The project has attracted the attention of Broadway producer Robert <br />Blume. <br /> <br />On stage, Dailakis talks about relationships, love and mimics movie stars with an <br />uncanny ability of being able to contort his face so he can look like them too. His <br />performances have earned him standing ovations and adoration from audiences <br />across the world.
