The remains of a village in The Central African Republic.<br/> <br />No one wants to live here anymore.<br/> <br />The country descended into chaos in March when the President was ousted by mostly Muslim rebels.<br/> <br />One man describes what it was like to come under attack. He was shot four times.<br/> <br />This woman was held hostage. Her family had to pay 400 dollars for her release -- a small fortune in this part of the world.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Sango) VILLAGER, ALBERTINE GONDJE, SAYING:<br/> <br />"We are living in total fear here, most of the people are currently living in the bush. I came back here to try and find some medication for my sick child."<br/> <br />The U.N. Refugee Agency released footage of the village.
