One man died and two others were critically injured when a light aircraft crashed upon approach to Caernarfon Airport in Wales on Sunday.<br /><br />The plane, a four-seater Piper Cherokee, was traveling from Blackpool to North Wales when the crash occurred at around lunchtime.<br /><br />Sources at the airport said the plane had clipped trees as it approached the runway and flipped onto its roof, according to Wales Online.<br /><br />One man was killed, while another was taken to hospital with multiple lower limb injuries.
