Samsung announces 5G mobile communication breakthrough

This allows for ultra-HD video streaming, and for large files such as movies to be downloaded in seconds.<br /><br />Adaptive array transceiver technology makes use of the 28 GHz super-high frequency part of the radio spectrum, allowing speeds of up to 1.056 Gbps at distances of up to 2km.<br /><br />The company hopes to commercialise the technology by 2020. <br /><br />This animation introduces the new technology's features.
