Denmark's Princess Mary and Prince Frederik toured Winmalee in Australia's Blue mountains, where nearly 200 homes have been destroyed by wild fires.<br/> <br />Princess Mary walked with the Premier of New South Wales, Barry O'Farrell to see the damage first hand after bush fires swept through the town last week.<br/> <br />The visit proved a morale boost to residents who had lost all their possessions.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) WINMALEE RESIDENT MICHAEL ROSS SAYING:<br/> <br />"In true Aussie form, I think it's bloody awesome. It's just great to see them out here. I hope all the people that did lose their homes haven't left the area and they're here today to see, I think it's good."<br/> <br />The Australian-born princess and her husband are visiting New South Wales to take part in the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Sydney Opera House.
