The pioneering songwriter and musician behind the Velvet Underground died at his home in Long Island, New York following complications from a liver transplant he had earlier this year. After his time with the Velvet Underground, Reed moved on to a successful solo career, earning fame for his hits like "Walk on the Wild Side," and bringing alternative and punk rock to the mainstream. He was 71.<br /> <br />Chris Brown was arrested and charged with assault in Washington D.C., after getting into a fight with a man outside a hotel. The singer appeared before a judge on Monday (October 28), pled not guilty and was released without bail.
