They are known for performing with an high energy. The group plays music falling in the the genres of soul, r&b, hip hop, funk, spoken word, and jazz. They have been performing together almost 2 years and have had the pleasure of performing at the Jazz and Heritage Festival, Write NOLA Festival, League of Black Women Conference, and many many more events. The group has released 2 albums RandoMe and RandoME reloaded. They are set to release their upcoming project in January 2013. Tank and The Bangas are led by lead singer Tarriona Tank Ball, Jarred "Nation" Savwoir (Bass), Norman Spence (keys), Josh Johnson (drums), and Nita Bailey (percussions). The group has toured in places such as, Houston, Austin, Philadelphia, New York, Washington, Mobile, and many other cities.
