Gunmen opened fire on a crowd in New Orleans on Sunday May 12th, injuring nineteen people, including two children.<br /><br />The shooting happened during a Mother's Day second-line parade at around 1:45pm.<br />Police believe two or three people then started shooting "at, toward or in the crowd."<br />Officers allegedly next saw three suspects fleeing the scene.<br /><br />One was described as a man aged between 18 and 22 with short hair, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.<br /><br />Many of the victims suffered graze wounds, some by bullets that ricocheted.
