Fuel cells are a classic case of innovative technology - except it has barely been used in practice. It has enjoyed precious few large-scale applications.<br /> <br />Change is on its way, however. A 250 kilowatt facility the size of a shipping container is now set to supply the Ministry of Research in Berlin with electricity.
