At least 30 people died when this private bus rammed into an oil tanker in southern India's Andhra Pradesh state and caught fire.<br/> <br />The bus, carrying around 44 passengers, was travelling from Bangalore to Hyderabad.<br/> <br />When it reached Kothakota flyover it hit a tanker, which erupted into flames.<br/> <br />The blaze engulfed the bus before passengers realised what had happened....It was 11pm and most of them had been sleeping.<br/> <br />The driver and some other passengers managed to escape. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.<br/> <br />Road accidents in India are common...transport officials attribute a large number of accidents there to poorly maintained roads and vehicles, reckless driving, and overloading.
