Anthony Ciancia, a 23-year-old LA resident, has been named by the FBI as the suspect in the shooting at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)on November 1.<br /><br /> Gerardo Henandaz, an unarmed agent of the Transport Security Administration (TSA), was killed and a number of people were wounded.<br /><br /> The gunman managed to get deep into Terminal 3 of LAX before pulling out an assault rifle from his bag and starting to shoot.<br /><br /> The gunfire created pandemonium in the airport terminal, with people running for safety and taking cover where they could.<br /><br /> One witness described what happened, saying: “I heard gunshots and we all just went down to the ground and a few seconds later I saw him coming up the elevator and walk by about 10 feet away from me with his gun pointed.”<br /><br /> Another person said: “You just don’t believe it’s real, it’s like seeing something on TV, you can’t believe you’re the one hiding behind a counter, it just doesn’t seem real.”<br /><br /> There are reports that the gunman was carrying materials expressing anti-government sentiment and may have been specifically targeting the TSA.
