Six holidaymakers drowned when a ferry capsized near Thailand’s Koh Lan island, around 100 kilometres from Bangkok.<br /><br />Three of the tourists were Thai, two Russian and one Chinese. <br /><br />Thai police said an engine problem on the double-decker ferry had caused passengers to rush to the second floor – resulting in the boat flipping over.
