Clashes in southeastern Turkey as protests erupt over government plans to build a wall near the border with Syria.<br/> <br />Construction is already underway highlighting Ankara's growing concern about the spill-over of violence from Syria.<br/> <br />Kurdish political parties oppose the plan, saying Syrian Kurds should not be stopped from crossing over.<br/> <br />Turkey is sheltering around a quarter of the 2 million people who have fled Syria's conflict.<br/> <br />It still maintains an "open door" policy to those fleeing the fighting, although it has closed border crossings from time to time.<br/> <br />But refugees, smugglers, and rebel fighters have been able to cross the border leaving Turkey with a major security challenge as the country tries to contain the flames of war.
