Newly released video shows Edward Snowden meeting with German lawmaker Hans-Christian Stroebele.<br/> <br />WikiLeaks posted the video to their website on Monday.<br/> <br />It shows the fugitive intelligence contractor sitting at a table, talking and laughing with Stroebele and three others.<br/> <br />During the meeting, Snowden signed a letter addressed to the German government in which he said "speaking the truth is not a crime."<br/> <br />His leaks include allegations the U.S. tapped phones of world leaders including German Chancellor Angela Merkel.<br/> <br />Following the meeting on Thursday, Stroebele returned to Germany with the letter.<br/> <br />It's been reported the German parliament wants to talk to Snowden about the secret monitoring of Merkel's phone.<br/> <br />But if Snowden were to visit Germany, it could endanger his asylum status back in Moscow.
