--RESENDING SCRIPT / VIDEO TO CORRECT TYPO IN INTRO LINE--<br /> <br />Amanda Knox's former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, addresses a Florence courtroom and asks judges to give him back a real life.<br /> <br />Knox and Sollecito were convicted in 2009 of killing 21-year-old British student Meredith Kercher in what was described as a drug-fuelled sexual assault.<br /> <br />An emotional Sollecito plead his innocence.<br /> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Italian) RAFFAELE SOLLECITO SAYING:<br /> <br />"As I said, I never knew Rudy Guede and I only knew Meredith a little bit. It doesn't make any sense that I would have had any interest in her that could have led to such an atrocious act, against a 20-year-old girl, it has no basis in reality. And this thing, unfortunately, is going on for too many years."<br /> <br />After winning an appeal in 2011 against their guilty verdicts, both Knox and Sollecito were freed from prison.<br /> <br />But the case is being tried again in Florence after Italy's supreme court overturned the acquittals in
