Six thousand soldiers are taking part in NATO’s biggest military exercise for seven years. <br /><br />The operation in eastern Poland, dubbed Steadfast Jazz, has raised suspicions in Moscow because officials see it as the alliance flexing its military muscles close to the Russian border.<br /><br />NATO has denied the exercise was intended to send a message to any particular country.
