Veteran Blake Shelton and newcomers Kacey Musgraves and Florida Georgia Line were among the winners at the Country Music Association awards in Nashville, Tennessee.<br/> <br />Shelton took home the album of the year trophy, giving him seven career CMA awards.<br/> <br />And both he and his wife Miranda Lambert took home matching male and female vocalist of the year honors.<br/> <br />Crossover star Taylor Swift not only performed but was honored with the pinnacle award.<br/> <br />The final and top honor of the evening went to George Strait who won the award for entertainer of the year.<br/> <br />It is the third time Strait has won the award - but his first since 1990.
