Death toll expected to rise in Philippines

Residents living in parts of central Philippines are starting to clear debris Saturday after Typhoon Haiyan tore through parts of the country.<br/> <br />The massive Category 5 typhoon- possibly the strongest ever to hit land- has devastated parts of the island nation.<br/> <br />Dramatic video shows winds ripping roofs off buildings and bending trees.<br/> <br />Some of the most affected areas include Cebu- a popular tourist destination- with more than 80 percent of homes along the coast flattened.<br/> <br />The death toll stands at 100 but officials expect that number to rise as communications are restored in remote locations.<br/> <br />The country sees about 20 typhoons every year.
