Vietnam is bracing itself for the arrival of Typhoon Haiyan.<br /><br />Having caused devastation in the Philippines, it is now heading towards the north of the county.<br /><br />Although the storm is significantly weaker, it likely to cause strong winds, flooding and mudslides as it makes its way across the South China Sea.<br /><br />State media is reporting six people have already died in heavy rains.<br /><br />More than 800,000 people have been evacuated from their homes in northern Vietnam and moved to shelters in safe zones.<br /><br />Boats have been called back into harbour and Danang and Hue airports were empty with hundreds of flights cancelled.
