Equipment at an illegal gold mine near Lake Titicaca in Peru is blown sky high.<br/> <br />It's part of an effort by authorities there to eradicate the so called wildcat mines from operation.<br/> <br />The move comes after Peruvian President Ollanta Humala declared all unauthorized mining illegal.<br/> <br />Critics of the mines say they pollute rivers and destroy resource rich jungle.<br/> <br />Peru is a leading producer of copper, zinc, and silver.
