A 50-year-old man in Taitung, Taiwan, tried to get out of a DUI arrest by claiming he was the incarnation of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King in the Chinese novel "Journey to the West". Of course, it didn't work.<br /><br />The drunk man was near a sobriety checkpoing when he left his vehicle and jumped off a bridge. He told police he was actually spiritually possessed by Sun Wukong, but the cops didn't buy that.
