Thousands of people have demonstrated in Naples against the dumping of toxic waste in the region.<br /><br />Protesters say the local mafia, known as the Camorra, has been leaving tonnes of radioactive rubbish, paints, chemicals and glues in the surrounding countryside over the last two decades .<br /><br />Among the demonstrators were those who say their relatives have died of cancer and other illnesses related to the pollution.
