Flags fly at half staff at the Kazan airport in Russia Monday after 50 people died in a plane crash.<br/> <br />A Boeing 737 enroute from Moscow crashed Sunday as it attempted to land.<br/> <br />The son of the president of the province was among those who died.<br/> <br />The plane had been trying to abort its landing in order to make a second approach when it crashed, killing all 44 passengers and six crew members.<br/> <br />Officials say there had been no technical problems reported with the plane prior to the flight and regular maintenance and troubleshooting had been conducted.
