ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: Palestinian villagers from the West Bank village of Qusra near Nablus clashed with Israeli soldiers who entered the village on Monday, after a group of settlers, according the Palestinians, were spotted vandalizing trees.<br/> <br />The residents say they went out in numbers to counter the settlers and were confronted by Israeli troops with whom they clashed, by hurling rocks at their armored vehicles.<br/> <br />The army fired tear gas, stun grenades and rubber coated bullets, wounding eight residents from the village, a local news agency reported.<br/> <br />Qusra is a flash point of violence. It is located on the outskirts of the city of Nablus in close proximity to a number of Jewish settlements whose residents, according to Palestinians, clash with local villagers.
