We would like to own our own home by October of 2012 if possible and obviously need to raise our scores. Hes at 587 and Im at 527. We dont have any credit cards, loans, etc now because of the bankruptcy. Is there any way to raise our scores high enough to get a mortgage? I heard you need at least a score of 630 to qualify. Is that true? And does anyone know if the whole depositing like $500 into a savings then requesting a loan for that amount works? Thanks for any help :-D -
