Five people believed to have been a family were killed in a head-on collision with a lorry yesterday. The family, a mother, father, two teenage girls and a two-year-old girl, were travelling along the A18 in Laceby, near Grimsby, when they crashed into a lorry.<br /><br />The cause of the accident is unknown. Some reports suggest that the Nissan Primera either tried to overtake something, or it hit the kerb and spun out of control and into the New Century Foods lorry. Three member of the family died at the scene. The two others were pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.
