However in late January I found out that my wife's parents were 2 months late on the house they live in that's in MY name. I have since been trying to short sell it, but now I have a bankruptcy AND a mortgage that's 5 months late! And I can't rebuild my credit as long as they're living in this house for free, paying no rent, and dragging my already damaged credit through the mud. So........ <br /> <br />Is there any chance of hiring an attorney to re-open my bankruptcy case to include my inlaws property? It has already been listed in my BK, but I didn't include it because at the time, I thought they would continue making the payments as they've done for the last 6 years. Please advise!
