I currently have poor credit and am around 30,000 in debt due largely in part to medical bills. I work a part time job to keep the bills paid and certainly do not have the money to begin tackling this debt. I plan on being in school for the next 6-8 years and will then begin a medical career as a physical therapist. I have heard that You could file bankruptcy and actually use this to your advantage. My question is, should I file for bankruptcy? By the time im 35 or so wouldn't this have been a better option? because paying off this debt while in school or otherwise is nearly impossible. -
