A midair plane collision left one person dead and three with minor injuries in southern California. The incident occurred Monday when two Cessna 172 planes crossed flight paths shortly after 2:00 p.m.<br /><br />The two planes made contact midair, sending one crashing into a rocky ridge and the other towards Westlake Golf Course. Witnesses said they saw a low-flying plane clip a tree, causing it to gently crash land onto the fairground at the golf course.
